Sol Food LLC operates solfood.life. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, buy or book a consultation.

What we collect

When you order, PayPal processes your payment and shares your name, email, shipping address and order details with us. We do not receive your full card or bank details.

Our website host may keep standard technical logs of visits, such as IP address and browser type.

How we use it

We use your information to fulfill orders, provide support and handle returns. We share it only with the services needed to do that, such as PayPal and our shipping and fulfillment partners, or when the law requires it. We do not sell your information.

Consultations

When you book a consultation, we collect your name, email, phone number if you give it, your time zone, how you would like to meet, what you would like support with, and, if you choose to share them, your current medications or supplements and whether you are pregnant or nursing. When you sign the consultation disclosure, we record your typed name, the date and time, your IP address and browser, and the exact disclosure text you were shown.

We use this information only to prepare for and hold your consultation, and to learn how people find us. Payment is handled through the secure payment link we send you, and video consultations take place on Jitsi Meet. It is emailed to our herbalist and stored in our business calendar, which is hosted by our email and calendar provider. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. There are no analytics or advertising trackers on our booking pages. California law requires us to keep your signed disclosure acknowledgment for three years, so we keep that record for three years and then delete it. To have your other consultation information deleted, email hello@solfood.life and we will delete it, except where the law requires us to keep a record.

Free jar applications

When you apply for a free jar, we collect your name, email, shipping address, and, if you choose to share them, your phone number, a few words about you, and how you heard about us. We never ask about income, documents or health.

We use this only to review your request and ship your jar. It is emailed to our team, kept in a private log on our server, and shared with our shipping carrier when your jar ships. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. We keep an application for up to 24 months after we receive it, then delete it. Our one-for-one ledger keeps only counts and an application number, not your name or address. To have your application deleted sooner, email hello@solfood.life.
